Privacy Policy
How Beachcomber RV Park collects, uses, and protects guest data.
Last updated: June 3, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Beachcomber RV Park collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects personal information through our website, reservations, guest communications, and related campground operations.
This policy applies to Beachcomber RV Park. Third-party websites and services, including Campspot, Google, Meta, TikTok, Metricool, and YouTube, handle information under their own privacy policies.
At a glance
The short version
- We collect the information guests choose to give us, such as contact details, reservation questions, and booking information.
- We use Campspot for online reservations and payment handling. Campspot collects booking and payment information and shares reservation details with us so we can manage your stay.
- We use analytics and advertising tools, including Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, and Metricool, to understand website use and measure advertising performance.
- We store limited attribution details in your browser so booking links can carry campaign and referral information to Campspot.
- We do not sell guest contact or reservation details for money. Some advertising pixels may be considered targeted-advertising data sharing under certain privacy laws.
Personal Information
Information We Collect
We collect personal information only as reasonably needed for our campground business, guest service, reservations, website operations, advertising measurement, safety, and legal compliance.
Information you provide
- Contact details you provide by phone, email, or the website contact form, such as your name, email address, phone number, subject, and message.
- Reservation details you provide through Campspot or directly to us, such as stay dates, site preferences, party details, pet details, vehicle or RV details, payment status, and special requests.
- Payment and billing information submitted through Campspot or its payment processors. Our website does not store full payment card numbers.
- Any other information you choose to include in a message, reservation note, cancellation request, review, or support request.
Information collected automatically
- Device and browser information, IP address, referring page, pages viewed, timestamps, interactions, and similar technical information collected by our website host and analytics providers.
- Campaign and referral parameters from the page URL, including utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content, gclid, gbraid, wbraid, fbclid, and _gl.
- External referrer hostname, landing page URL, and the date and time attribution information was captured.
- Current-session attribution stored in sessionStorage and first-touch/last-touch attribution stored in localStorage for up to 90 days unless your browser clears it sooner.
The website contact form prepares an email in your email app. It does not submit the message to a Beachcomber website database. If you send the prepared email, the message is handled by your email provider and ours.
Cookies & Browser Storage
Website Tracking and Advertising Tools
We use tracking and measurement tools to understand website use, improve our pages, measure advertising, and understand whether guests click through to online booking. These tools may use cookies, pixels, browser storage, IP address, browser identifiers, device information, page URLs, referrers, events, and similar technologies.
Google Tag Manager
Loads and manages our configured measurement tags. Google states that Tag Manager may collect aggregate tag firing diagnostics and standard HTTP request logs.
Google Analytics 4
Measures page activity and site usage. Our GTM container is configured for measurement ID G-4WL570RQ2X and for begin_checkout and purchase events when those events are available.
Meta Pixel
Measures advertising performance on Meta platforms. Our GTM container is configured with pixel ID 27305084769125489 for PageView, InitiateCheckout when a Campspot booking link is clicked, and Purchase if a purchase event is available.
TikTok Pixel
Measures advertising performance on TikTok. Our GTM container is configured with pixel ID D8G0KEBC77U5P5NBOCA0 for page activity.
Metricool
Measures website visits and pages viewed. Metricool describes its tracker as recording the visit, detecting country and viewed page through IP, and not executing cookies.
YouTube
Provides embedded video playback. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed domain where practical, but YouTube and Google may still process information when the player loads or when you interact with it.
Google services
Google Fonts, Google Maps links, and Google Reviews links may process technical information when fonts load or when you choose to open those Google services.
We also pass limited attribution parameters to Campspot booking links so we can understand which campaigns or referral sources led to booking activity. These parameters may include current URL campaign IDs and first-touch or last-touch source, medium, campaign, term, content, and capture timestamp.
Purposes
How We Use Information
- Respond to inquiries, prepare emails, answer questions, and provide customer support.
- Create, confirm, manage, change, or cancel reservations.
- Process payments, deposits, refunds, account credits, and related reservation administration through Campspot and payment providers.
- Understand website traffic, advertising performance, booking-link clicks, and referral sources.
- Improve website content, booking flows, guest communications, and campground operations.
- Protect our business, guests, website, reservation systems, and payment process from misuse, fraud, security incidents, and legal claims.

Storage
Retention, Security, and Location of Processing
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including reservation administration, guest support, accounting, chargebacks, security, legal obligations, and legitimate business records.
Browser attribution data stored by this website is retained for up to 90 days in localStorage, while session attribution is retained until the browser session ends. You can clear this data through your browser settings.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to a small campground business. No internet transmission or storage system is perfectly secure.
We and our service providers may process or store information in Canada, the United States, the European Union, or other locations where our providers operate. Information may be accessible to courts, regulators, law enforcement, or government authorities in those jurisdictions where permitted by law.

- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, subject to legal and contractual limits.
- Ask us to delete or restrict use of information where applicable law gives you that right.

Practical choices
- You can contact us by direct email instead of using the website form.
- You can choose not to provide optional information, but some details are needed to answer an inquiry or complete a reservation.
- You can clear or block browser cookies, localStorage, and sessionStorage. Doing so may limit attribution and analytics tracking.
- You can use privacy controls offered by Google, Meta, TikTok, Metricool, YouTube, Campspot, your browser, and your device.
- You can manage booking details and booking-related privacy requests through Campspot when your request concerns information Campspot controls.
We do not currently respond to automated browser "Do Not Track" signals. Browser privacy settings, cookie controls, and ad blockers may still limit some tracking technologies.
